Mercy's 2011 Care Begins with Me Health & Lifestyle Event for Women brought together hundreds of local women for a night of food, fun and inspiring discussions.
Guests were treated to a Marketplace Expo featuring wine and hors d'oeuvres, chair massages, boutique vendors and information about some of the services offered by Mercy.
Our 2011 guest speaker was Abby Rike, from season 8 of NBC's The Biggest Loser, who moved the audience with her compelling story of triumph of tragedy, and always finding hope.
Following Abby's presentation, guests were invited to participate in a number of Care Chat sessions led by Mercy-affiliated physicians and healthcare providers on topics ranging from heart health and headaches, to back pain, skin care and healthy living.
